On November 29, 2018, Microsoft is introducing for all Microsoft 365 and Office 365 users, helpful product training and tips for services in their subscriptions via email.

How does this affect me?

After the 29 November, email communications will be enabled-by-default for your businesses users, allowing Microsoft to provide product training and tips aimed at helping you increase your productivity and to maximize your utilization of Microsoft products and services you use most. Users will only receive emails regarding services that they have been enabled for.

This is a Microsoft update and will be on-by-default for all Office 365 and Microsoft 365 users on November 29, 2018.

What do I need to do to prepare for this change?

If you want your users to receive product training and tips that are tailored to their services in your subscription, then there’s nothing you need to do to prepare for this change.

If you do not want Microsoft to send product training and tips to your end users, we can disable this feature. If you wish to disable this service for your users between now and November 29, 2018, and your settings will be honored.
